I was in the bank's vault. The Brink's armored truck had just delivered several million dollars in small bills. Bags of money waited, stacked in a pile on the small counter. Methodically, I opened each and proofed the total it contained by counting the wads. I then took each wad, removed the wrapper and put the bills through the counting machine. When the machine finished, I hand counted it. The air was filled with the stuffy, musty smell of money. My hands were brown and oily from the invisible coat of dirt each bill carried.

I was awash with the money I handled each day in my Head Teller position. It wasn't mine, but it was fun to handle. I was always surprised to find that a million dollars in wrapped 5's, 10's, and 20's stood up on their long edge only occupied a space as large as the top of my desk.

I was there, surrounded by it, nostrils filled with the smell of it, fists full of it. Why? Because I'd put myself in the position to do so. Was it mine? No, but the image of all that money in cash, not checks, has remained with me throughout the years since I held that job. It is an image of huge abundance that was there for me to hold in my own two hands.

Last autumn, I attended a rock concert with 30,000 screaming young girls. Throughout one of the songs , the huge video screens at the back of the stage show images of copious amounts of cash pouring down from the sky. Later, green and white confetti-symbolizing money-rains down onto the crowd. It drifts up, inches thick, around the ankles of the spectators. "Money, money, money," the group sings. The girls throw the confetti into the air again, allowing it to pour over them once more.

It is an amazing image. Money pouring down from heaven onto the guys in the group who take the same image and pour it down onto their fans, who are thus figuratively enriched by being there to receive it. The fans received because they were in that particular place at that particular time.

Days after the concert, the image stayed with me. I hadn't liked the song before connecting it with the image of huge abundance that could be mine, too. I thought of the paychecks that flow into my hands every other week and how much money a person actually accumulates in their lifetime. I thought of the host asking, "Who wants to be a Millionaire?" I compared the money video to actually being in the vault with money piled up everywhere. At neither time was the money really mine. In fact, the concert money wasn't even real. Yet the images are powerful ones, which have stuck with me.

What does this have to do with hearing the Angels? Would you be surprised if I said the image I have in my head of hearing the Angels is the same as the image of "rolling in dough"?

Hearing Angels is like having the wealth of heaven rain down upon me. The Angels pour their valuable love over me and into my heart. When I know they are near, I am awash with it, just as I was awash with cash while in the vault or viewing the image of money on the screen.

How do I hear them? I put myself in the place to hear them. I ready my heart. I create the stillness. I assume an attitude of reverence and respect. I focus on the image of heaven opening and the most valuable commodity it has to offer, love, raining down upon me, drifting up inside my heart. I listen to what love has to say and bring the information to you by throwing their words back up into the air and letting them fall onto the paper in an order that creates an article.

I allow the love to wash over me over and over again just as though it was the green confetti.

Where do you place yourself in order to receive heaven's love and hear the Angel's words? Where is the best place for you to find stillness? Where is the best place for this intimate conversation to occur? Be certain that every single thing you do leads you to the place you want to be. Ask yourself if what you are doing right now, at this very moment, is leading you to where you need to be to hear the Angels. Have you sought out and cultivated stillness within yourself?

The Angels offer this:

The message lies within the stillness because the stillness leads to that which is beyond it. It leads to perception of the deeper parts of your being, of the deeper parts of heaven, of the deeper parts of Spirit. When you follow the Angels into the deeper dimensions, you understand much more fully. When you remain in those dimensions, you enable yourself to hear the Angels all the time. It is the willingness to be still that opens your mind.

Where is your place of stillness? Find it, protect it and place yourself there often. In this place you will find the love heaven has to offer. It will pour down upon you like the green and white confetti; love enriching your life, for love is. Love always is. And so it is…The Angels of Abundance™
