"I'm Mine, All Mine!"

"If you were truly a good _______(fill in the blank), you'd use your gifts and talents for ________(fill in the blank)."
I'll bet you've heard that before. You join a group or accept a job; they discover that you're a very talented person and figure out a way to take your skills and use them for their own ends; paying you nothing or only a pittance for the extra work. "You're so talented, it'll only take you a second to do this," they'll say. "It'd take someone else a week!" or "I'm not gifted, you are, so you'll just have to be the one to do it!" deciding that the free use of your gifts is the perfect way to attain their goals.
It's "all in together girls..." all over again, except for the fact that you're the one giving, they're doing the taking and there's really no "togetherness" involved.
You played along. You, kind soul and good employee that you are, jumped in to do whatever was asked. Sometime later, you began to look around and take a peek at the life you'd created. You might have asked the Angels why you're so poor. You might have even called me for an Angelic Abundance® Angel Reading and said, "Catherine, please tell the Angels I need money, NOW! I'm about to lose everything. Any money I had I spent doing things for others and now I don't have any. I’m in debt to boot. What do the Angels say I should do?
In giving her all to fulfill someone else's goals, a woman severely limits the use of her gifts and talents for herself. In severely limiting the use of her gifts and talents for herself, a woman remains a "good" _______(fill in the blank) but limits her creative abilities. Small wonder it seems nearly impossible for her to see a creative way out of financial difficulty. Her financial plans, as well as her life's plan, are based on giving it all away for as minimal a profit conceivable.
What if, given the previous scenario, she chooses to develop the products and services that have been in her heart to create all along? What if she spends the next years of her life honing her skills and making her contribution to the world as a result of using those gifts and talents as she saw fit? Would she be a greedy or "bad" person? No. The greater value she places on her skills, the greater her compensation will be.
Begin to creatively use the gifts and talents you have to make money. Take action steps. Stop allowing others who can do for themselves to take from you. Begin to actively use your ability for yourself. When you're able to hug yourself and joyfully say, "I'm mine, all mine," you'll be ready to rebuild your financial life, use what you earn to make your life better and only then, use it to make the lives of others better if you so choose.
