Spring Fields

Warmer days have finally come to this part of the world. Birds have returned from southern climes. Their presence is welcome; their songs have been missed. Spring rains have come and softened the frozen ground, lulling us to deeper sleep at night, giving us the thrill of lightening and thunder once again.

We rejoice to see new shoots of plants among the green grass and in the flowerbeds. I look for the wood violets that are scattered in the greening lawn. I am loath to behead them by cutting the grass for the first time.

Wearing my mud boots, I putter in the yard, which is almost ready for my attention. I must not be too quick to remove last year's mulch from the plants. The night is still cold.

We feel the rebirth as the Earth comes alive again. Celebrations of new life take place. We come alive again right along with her. Our lives seem full of new growth and new possibilities. As the days become longer, our energies increase. New life has returned to our hearts and we are overjoyed.

Beloved,
When spring comes to people's hearts as well as to their minds, great happiness and openness is achieved. When spring comes to the world through the turning of the planet around the sun the renewal begins as though for the first time. You know in your mind that it's part of a constant cycle. It is good to see the longer days, to see the sun again and identify with the light instead of the darkness.

Fill your heart and mind with the light and there will be only light. The darkness will be filled and the shadows will only be there for the purpose of contrast. The darkness has no power or meaning on its own. It simply defines the contours of whatever it is you are looking at, whatever it is you perceive. It simply shows the contours. If it were all light, the landscape would flatten out; the backgrounds would flatten out. Your perception would flatten out and that's what's meant by free will. That is an indication that you have free will, that you perceive the difference between the lights and shadows and may choose which to dwell in and identify with.

When you turn and face the sun, you are temporarily blinded by its brilliance. It is all you see. Life as you know it would not exist if all you saw were the light. The patterns and textures and perceived undulations would be gone.

Now, with the snow melting, the fields that were turned over last fall are chocolate brown and their undulations hold promise. Their mud is rich and fertile. They hold great potential. Spring is about that potential.

You who are lightworkers and have done much to play with spirit, to encourage others to be in tune with spirit, are like those fields in the spring. The snow has sheltered them all winter and now they lie exposed to the sun and the rain. When they are dry enough, a farmer will plant theseeds and the cycle will begin again.

You lightworkers are like those fields that have recently been seeded. Will you, in harmony with your authentic self bear the fruit of the seeds that have been planted in you? Will you bring forth that which is within you? Will you know spirit intimately through opening the very heart of you and allowing the seed to grow?

We tell you this. Not one man or woman does so without being blessed in full measure, without having everything they give returned to them.

We await your fullness of self. We await your rebirth. We tell you it is good to know of your potential and dance in the exhilaration of that knowledge.

Imagine if each field bore its own special kind of fruit. Imagine if each field bore fruit that was different from every other field. What vast wealth would be yours to be a part of? Imagine if you were living in the environment of everybody's expression of their own highest self and you could partake in their highest self. You could allow that part of them into you because it would not be a threat to your fullest expression. With all the creativity and authenticity of being that you would find, it would be like being a jewel in a treasure chest full of jewels and priceless artwork. It would be like being a masterpiece among masterpieces, each different and each splendid. All that potential lies in each one of you.

That is the potential of the people who dwell on earth. So, when you look at another person, look to find the jewel quality within them. Look to find that space so that quality is allowed to express itself. Provide places of safety for each other, in which people may come and be the full expressions of their authentic selves. In your generosity, many will flourish and that flourishing will come back to you. As you make space for others you make space for yourself and embrace yourself. Allow the fullness of each person to come forth, and you will allow the fullness of the earth to come forth. Winter will be no more and the spring will come and stay within your heart.

Soon it will be summer and the fruition of people living to their fullest potential will fill the earth and the earth will respond in kind. Paradise will be gained. Love will abound. Peace and harmony will reign.

We tell you this from our heart of hearts with the deepest love and the most honest affection we can tell you of. We love you so deeply. We are here to do anything we possibly can to assist you in this transition and time of birth. Fill your hearts with light and there will be only light within you.

The colors will reveal themselves to you in this new light and there will be colors you've never seen before. You will realize that each color has meaning beyond hue or tint or shade.

There are many depths to knowledge, many layers of understanding and we ask that you understand this. One layer of understanding does not negate or erase another layer. You who have greater understanding need not condemn the others for their lack of it. Gently lead these others through your example to the knowledge that you have gained. Each person will take what resonates within their heart of hearts within the soil of the field that they are. They will decide what it is which will feed and nourish them as they allow the seeds to grow.

Choose what you will be. Will you be a field, lush and fertile, fed organically, nourished well? Or will you be a barren field, depending on chemical fertilizers, depending on approval of a doctrine that did not come from your own heart? Seek for yourself and find the truths you resonate to that are in accordance with your own being and allow those truths to nourish you as the sun and rain nourish the lush fields.

It is with the greatest love and affection that we tell you these things. We wrap our wings about you and hold you with the greatest love and affection. For love is. Love always is, and so it is.

Activities for Rebirth

Superb teachers that they are, The Angels of Abundance often gives suggestions and activities designed to engage my body and mind with the soul nourishing conversations we have. The triad is body, mind and soul and all are interconnected and should remain balanced as much as possible.

They love to have us up, off our comfortable seats and doing. They love to see us taking action steps to make our outer, as well as inner world a richer, better place for others and ourselves.

As you connect to mother earth, her energy comes to you through the balls of your feet. It then travels up through your body through all your chakras. When you feel this, know you are in kinship with nature, know that you are growing, and know that you are coming alive again in the same way she is. We ask you to bless yourself and your surroundings. We ask you to indulge and revel in the new energies that come with the turning of the days, the turning of the world now.
We ask you to rejoice in spring and be glad of the new life you may partake in. We ask you to rejoice in your own being, in your own eloquence, in your own loveliness by engaging in whatever ritual you feel is appropriate.

To that end, we give you these activities to enjoy. Make a sincere effort to take these action steps that will bring something better into existence for you first. Then share your new essence with others.

1. Call the zoo and ask when the baby chicks hatch. Many zoos have children's areas where there is an incubator and a viewing area. If the timing is right, you may be able to witness the new births taking place.

2. Replace the winter colored candles and other decorations that are in your home with new ones of springtime colors. The vibration of the spring pastels is lighter and not as heavy as the darker winter colors. It will give your environment, and in turn you, a lift

.3. Clean your house. Yes, the classic response to spring is still a good thing to do. Freshen your space, clear out your junk. Allow the energy to flow freely again.

4. Sit on the banks of a river or stream. The newly opened water is clear and lively. Enjoy the sounds of the rushing water and birdsong. Allow yourself to be peaceful in it.

5. Turn your compost pile. It is time to discover the gift of rich new earth that the compost pile has turned into over the winter. Where will you put this precious, nutrient filled blessing? Which plants need it most? Winter has worked her miracle on the kitchen scraps, weeds and cuttings that had been tossed there last fall.

6. Look inside yourself. What within you has winter worked her miracle on? What has changed from scraps and weeds and cuttings within you to now enrich your life and provide nourishment? In your journal, write 6 things you now have the wish to do that you know you wouldn't have done last fall. Do one of them.

7. Begin your gardener's journal for the season. My sister carries a small calendar with her. When I ask, "Doesn't it seem as though the tulips have bloomed early this year?" She pulls it out, consults it and informs me of the precise date they bloomed the previous year. Nifty, huh?

8. Begin the journal for the garden that is your soul for the season. Take a small calendar or pocket notebook with you. Note the daily events that speak to your soul. Nothing is too small to mention. "Winter jacket put into storage" is a note I love to see on my calendar each year. For me, storing my winter jacket is a symbol of liberation and trust. I can finally go outside without its weight on my shoulders and I can finally trust (silly, as I was never in danger of it) that I will not freeze to death.

9. Let your inner child play. If you observe school children this time of year, you will notice that they hardly ever walk. Instead, they skip down the halls of the schools while humming or singing to themselves. They fling their arms wide and literally dance to their own rhythms. If they notice someone watching, they simply smile and continue or break into goofy giggles. How long has it been since you moved your body in such a manner? Put some music on and dance. Make up new steps to the rhythms you feel within you. Enjoy yourself.

10. Become imbued with the sense of the season, as though drunk on the newness of life. Do something silly. Do something outrageous. Jump through puddles, read a joke book aloud to somebody, write limericks, walk through the mud, wear something gaudy, tickle somebody and laugh. Above all. Enjoy yourself.
