Rebirth of the Goddess
By Catherine Kasper and the Angels of Abundance™
From Catherine:
My wonderful Angel, Bernard dramatically assists as fears that hold us back are tamed and lulled to sleep. Hence, The Goddess takes her rightful place once more. (P.S. You'll simply love this channeling!)
From the Angels of Abundance™:
"Close your eyes now," the Angel says, "and picture the support we give you."
I feel myself being lifted up by not one Angel, but by thousands of them whose combined beings make a great "V" shape in the sky. They bear me up in their strong arms as one bears and protects a child, holding me and shielding me from any harm that might come my way.
They take me where I wish to go, but I know I have not stated my intent aloud. I am barely aware of what it is I want to do.
I am afraid, not of them carrying me, but as a result of the fact that the turn of events in my life have plucked me from my comfort zone and thrust me out into the vast unknown. I am ecstatic at the nearness of their beings yet I look back over the Angel's shoulder to what was instead of inward at what is or forward to the sunset. I know we shall work tonight as though in a dream in preparation for the new day dawning for me. "The night is short," the Angel, Bernard, whispers into my ear. It is he who holds me closest.
I know that soon, we shall alight. I can see it in my mind's eye even as we swiftly fly. We land on a rocky ledge in front of a cave in the side of a mountain. Although I don't recognize it, Bernard tells me it is my niche and is, in fact, another entrance to the Cave of Creation.
I know it is "my" cave yet I am unfamiliar with this entrance. It is dim, almost dark in the twilight and my eyes need to adjust to the even dimmer light within. I freeze and remain where I am.
An Angel stands, protectively at the mouth of the cave. I see the setting sun through his wings and the light illuminates the outline of his body with a golden glow. "You are safe," he says. "Continue going within."
I enter the cave. The first thing I see is a chest of drawers. It stands against the rock wall looking very much out of place. The walls here are not cut and set together as they are in the parts of the cave I am familiar with. They look like an earth made cave, not the cathedral like carved arches and cut and fitted stone surfaces I am familiar with.
"This part of the cave is not new to you, dear one," Bernard says. "You have been here before. The events of your life in years past have laid the foundation for your work here now."
My vision has now become more accustomed to this version of an inward journey. I see that, indeed, work has been done. The floor is of neatly laid flagstones. There are comfortable furnishings in the room. A massive TV screen sits in a corner.
"What is that?" I ask Bernard. I am incredulous at the presence of a huge TV in something I created as I am not one who would own such a thing. Any TVs I've owned have been purposely small so as to better "disappear" into the living room when conversation is the reason for gathering there.
"It's not a TV," he replies. "It's a viewer to the within. It shall enable you to see within this cave that is indeed you and familiarize yourself with its structures before you venture on. We do not want you to lose your way. We have brought you to a safe, although unfamiliar place. You need not fear as I am here and the thousands of Angels stand guard outside."
I approach the screen, holing my palm out to it. Instantly, it illuminates with a bright light. Its effect on me is one of release and exhaustion. I am instantly tempted to fall asleep. I want to sleep for a hundred years and not have to do this work. I am tired from striving to make things right. I decide that I wouldn't accomplish anything that way so, although it is difficult, I decide to remain awake.
I look at the screen and see a mountain; lush but volcanic, smoldering and smoking. It is in a tropical area like Hawaii.
Oddly enough, I also see, clustered around the edges of the screen, small and very nasty gargoyle types of demons having pointed teeth and barbed backs. Startled, I jump back.
I look at them more closely as thousands of them crawl across the screen and obscure the picture. I recognize them. I know them well and am filled with revulsion and anger. They are my fears. "Be gone!" I command. They shrink away for a second, yet return to their creeping almost immediately. I realize that there are more of them now. I can see almost nothing of the picture.
I know I'll have to deal with them in order to move toward the volcano and into the experience Bernard had lead me to, so I move towards the screen. I can hardly breathe, am shaking and can hardly swallow. I feel the contents of my stomach churn.
Distasteful as it is to me, I allow each of the fears to jump from the screen into my arms. I stand, cuddling them, fighting the impulse to scream and run. I fight down the terror rising within me for I know it would only give them power. When they become too much for me, Bernard holds the overflow. I begin to cry. My tears are sedating to them and one by one, they calm down and fall asleep.
Now, putting the burden of my fears onto the couch, I rub the stinging welts their barbs have made on my arms. I feel confident as I realize that I have successfully put my fears to rest. They snore peacefully and I have to laugh a bit. I am still feeling shaky as I turn to view the now clear TV screen. I look at the picture and now clearly see the mountain, the water lapping at its base, the sun shining on the rocks.
"Oh, nooooooo," I hear myself shout as I feel myself being suddenly hurled through space. "Hang on," Bernard hollers through the whooshing sound of the wind. As suddenly as it began, it ends and we stand on the very rim of the volcano. I think of the Virgins who were hurled to their deaths in the ancient cultural rituals and notice that I have yet another fear in my arms. I realize I need to immediately stop creating them lest I wind up with huge burdens for myself to carry.
"Watch," Bernard says. I look down into the boiling, roaring cauldron of the volcano. I see a form emerging from the depths. It appears to be a woman! She arises from the mouth of the volcano, created of glowing red and yellow lava. She is molten and very powerfully filled with the searing heat of one born of the heart of the earth.
In time, the intense heat disappears is replaced by the solid golden light. She appears as the sun to me. I recognize her. She, rising up out of the heat of the earth, is my inner power reborn. She is not consumed by fire as a phoenix is, but is made of the fire. Although I recognize this part of myself and welcome her in, I wish to faint as she moves toward me. In a blinding flash of light, she takes her place in my body. I do not feel any heat, but experience only extreme amounts of light. I do faint.
When I come to, I find I am, once again inside the cave and, comforted, I sleep for a long time filled with peaceful wonder. It is not the hundred years' sleep of oblivion but a life renewing, healthy sleep.
When I, refreshed, awaken, the Angel, Bernard has this to say:
"Beloved, our wings lift you as we take delight in your efforts. Do you see, as we lift you to the vast expanse of the sky, that all is open to you; all is here for you to choose?
As you continue to engage in doing that which you love, many doors shall be opened to you.
You have realized that your fears can cling to you, weigh you down and hold you back. More importantly, they obscure your vision of the future. Welcome them, embrace them, calm them down, recognize them for what they are and then put them to rest for the 100 years sleep of oblivion. They shall remain quiet if you love them."
"When you go to meet your future, be brave. Even though you fainted when you accepted your self power, you did not fail her. She is you and you have, by taming your fears, enabled the powerful being of light that you are to exist in full measure once again. Look now."
I feel Bernard's hands on my shoulders as he turns me to face the magic mirror that hangs in the main vestibule of the cave near the huge, ornately carved doors in front of which a powerful, protecting Angel stands. The mirror always reveals my true self. I see clearly when I look into it, all judgment and pretense vanished
This time, I see golden light emanating from the top of my head. It is as though I have donned a crown. Suddenly, I recognize if for what it is; the Tiara that looks like pearlized rays of the sun that was given to me by the Sea Goddess. She'd said it had been mine all along.
"You wear it now as you have accepted and stand in the tremendous power of the feminine, Bernard continues. You have summoned her to rise, once again, from the molten, smoldering rage of the earth you are made of. Love her as you have loved your fears and allow her to shine from within you. She is here, the Goddess, taking her rightful place, and heaven rejoices at the balance."
We tell you this in great love, for love is. Love always is. And so it is.
The Angels of Abundance™
Activities for Rebirth of the Goddess
Superb teachers that they are, The Angels of Abundance often give suggestions and activities designed to engage my body and mind with the soul nourishing conversations we have. The triad is body, mind and soul and all are interconnected and should remain balanced as much as possible.
They love to have us up off our comfortable seats and doing. They love to see us taking action steps to make our outer, as well as inner world a richer, better place for others and ourselves.
Enjoy these activities. After you answer each of the questions mentally, make a sincere effort to take the action steps that will bring something better into existence for yourself first. Then share the new essence of yourself with others.
- Take a good look at your fears. Pen in hand, list them in your journal. Yes, I know they "bite," but be brave.
- Give each of your fears a name. In the naming, cuddle each one. Tell it you are thankful it is here and, while you choose to stand in your own power and refuse to allow it to control you, you know it is there to teach you something and shall listen to the one grain of truth it is there to tell you.
- Listen to what each fear has to say. Demand that it speak only the one truth about itself. Write what the fear says in your journal.
- Draw a quick sketch of each fear. (Yes, it can be simply a scribble.) Give it a hug and then fold it up. Wave your "magic wand" over it to lull it into the deep, 100 years sleep. Take a deep breath and release a long sigh. Its power over you is gone.
- Close your eyes and imagine the powerful Goddess of searing light standing before you. Welcome her in.
- Find, borrow, make or buy a sparkling tiara. If you make it, encrust it with beads and faux gemstones. Or, what the heck, use the real ones you have lying around.
- Wear your tiara as you watch the movie, Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood. Invite the girls over. Enjoy yourself
