Make it Mainstream

Have you ever wanted to generate more income? Many who have had Angel Readings from me say they want to have their own businesses (often spiritually based) and leave their jobs. They ask for heavenly information on how to do this. In an effort to assist, I asked the Angels of Abundance™ for their thoughts on the matter. They responded with this beautifully visual answer.

From the Angels of Abundance:

"Open your heart and see that which it is we have to show you." "Take my hand," your Angel says.

You take your Angel's hand and open your eyes. You are pleasantly surprised to see lovely hills that slope down to a wide river. Atop the hill nearest to you is a huge house built of alabaster. There are pillars along the wide portico and a wide dome at the top. The house is filled with lovely golden light that flows out of the windows and onto the grass. A pillar of light stretches from Heaven to the dome. "It is lovely," you say. A small creek flows from the house to the river in the valley below.

Vast gardens which are fed by the light grow behind the house. Fruit and flowers fill the yard and their aroma is sweet and very pleasant. You listen and hear the voices of the flowers singing; beauty emanating from their very essences.

"You Lightworkers create places of calm through which the light flows and nourishes all who wish to partake in it. You have freely given to the world and the world appreciates it. You are on the hill and your "house" is like a beacon that people see from afar, your light, golden and white, beguiling and beautiful, shines freely for all to see. You truly have no idea of the numbers of people you have reached with your work and words. The doors open out, standing wide open to let your lovely work energy flow out and down the hill. You wish that more would come to see your lovely creations and learn that which it is you came to teach and share through the businesses you have built and the work you have done. You wish to share your words and work with them for you realize that is what you came to earth to do," the Angel says. "But look, see how you wait for people to paddle up the creek to your house. You put your creations out there and then wait for them to find you."

"Now, look at the river," the Angel continues. You do so and are a little startled to see that things are floating in it. Grey office desks with people sitting at them scuttle past rapidly, roughly tossed about by the huge river of energy. The people hang on for dear life and the expressions on their faces show that it is not a happy ride. The sound of the sharp intake of your breath causes the Angel to smile. You are more than a little shocked as the flow of life energy which the river represents looks dangerous.

"Look again," your Angel says. You look closer and, this time, you see that many others in the flow are floating along calmly, almost serenely, as though they are on a summer pleasure trip. Indeed, some are in huge party boats, lights strung from the upper decking, their paddle wheels gently turning. They wave to you.

As usual, you are more than a little amazed at that which your Angel shows you. You are curious to discover what it all means.

Your Angel smiles his gentle smile and squeezes your hand. "This river you see is the flow of work energy. The people riding their desk chairs and having a wild, dangerous time of it are those who work because they must. They do not do work they love but work for the income because of the support it gives to their families. They have no rudders on their desks and they are tossed at will by the flow they fear. They notice the others serenely floating past but they do not have the faintest idea of how to join them. They dare not let go of their grip on the desk for, forgetting they've been taught to swim, they fear drowning." They dare not quit their jobs and take the plunge into work they love for they fear they would never make it to the pleasure boats but destroy themselves in the attempt."

"There must be something I can do to help them," you state anxiously.

Your Angel turns to face you. "You have built your house on the hill in order to avoid being in the stream with them. The flow you, as a Lightworker, think of as a "normal" job appears, to you, as a wild river. You are separate from it and you dread shouldering that heavy old rowboat you insist on keeping stashed under a bush in your garden, taking it down to the river, and then clinging to it for dear life, despairing, all the while, of ever finding your way back to the lovely house on the hill. You feel that doing any other job but your Lightwork will send you on the scary ride away from all that you have built."

"Yes, I realize that," you answer. "What is the solution then? Lightwork, while lovely and fulfilling to me as well as to many people, generates income, but not enough to fully support myself with. I always feel I need to take another part time job, one I don't care for simply to preserve my ability to do the spiritual work I truly love to do."

Kindly and with great love your Angel answers. "It is so simple and so easy. Move the house to the river. Place it squarely into the center of the river so that the flow cannot miss you. Do not give up that which you're doing and go to the flow, separate from that which you love; take the entire house as well as the garden and place it directly into the path of the flow and allow the flow to move through the entire house. Put that which you do into the main stream. Focus on making that which you bring in from heaven part of each person's daily life. You do, if you wish to support yourself from your Lightwork, have to stop wishing that the flow finds its way up the hill to you."

"Don't change what you do best. Continue to bring the information in. Just stop giving it away simply as a ray of light. Allow it to take form. Make it, instead, a resting place, indispensable for the people. Place it where the energy of life flows, not on a hilltop but right there, where the people are."

"But, doesn't the light diminish if it's down there and not on the hilltop? Isn't it harder for people to see it then?" you ask.

"Look again," the Angel says. You look to see that the house has moved to a spot right in the river! The porch has become a resting place for the people floating past, its steps leading right down into the clear water. You notice that there are moorings at which even the lurching desk may be tied onto for a time. People fill the porch as well as the house. They laugh and play, taking a moment out of their busy days to jump into the water energy and cleanse themselves from their daily routines. The light still emanates to and from the house but now, it illuminates the entire valley. Your bend of the river soon becomes known as a pleasurable and warm place to be. You see that settlements spring up on the banks because of your work and people use the house as a shelter from the hot sun and the sometimes wild ride that daily work can be."

"Your house has become a place of magic, rest and rejuvenation for all and they flock to you as you now provide them with that which fills their needs. We shall be here, in great love to assist you with this for we love you. For love is. Love always is. And so it is.

Activities for Making it Mainstream

Superb teachers that they are, The Angels of Abundance™ often give suggestions and activities designed to engage my body and mind with the soul nourishing conversations we have. The triad is body, mind and soul and all are interconnected and should remain balanced as much as possible.

They love to have us up off our comfortable seats and doing. They love to see us taking action steps to make our outer, as well as inner world a richer, better place for others and ourselves.

Enjoy these activities. After you answer each of the questions mentally, make a sincere effort to take the action steps that will bring something better into existence for yourself first. Then share the new essence of yourself with others.

1. Go through old magazines and find pictures of hills, a grand house and a river. Glue them to paper with the house sitting in the center of the river. Add strips of colors cut also from magazines to represent the beams of light emanating from the house, illuminating the hills. Add pictures of people relaxing. Find small pictures of money or use golden glitter to represent it and glue them on top of the light beams.

2. Hang the picture in the area of your home that represents wealth according to the feng-shui bagua map.

3. Write 5 articles giving information people can easily use and cast it into the flow by posting it on your website or on http://www.ezinearticles.com so others may freely use it. Of course, add text to the bottom that advertises your product or service as well as your website.

4. Keep your eyes open this week. Whenever you hear of a need that people have that a new type of business could be created to meet, write your idea down. Either create that business for yourself or find a place to post the idea so somebody else might benefit from it.

5. Really look at the flow of money energy. List all the things you love to do. Brainstorm ways that could, even remotely, meet someone's need and generate income for you.

6. Go to the library or bookstore. Browse magazines that run articles about successful home businesses. Read to discover things that they do which you could do to strengthen your Lightwork type of business.

7. Stop wishing and get down to business. List 15 ways you could get free publicity for your now mainstream business. Do at least 5 of those things this month.
